Nuenen: The Van Gogh family lived here from 1882 to 1885, Vincent from December 1883 to May 1884. The parsonage was built in 1764 when the town council was obliged to provide accommodation for the Dutch Reformed preacher. Vincent painted the front and back of the house on one occasion and also sketched it once. The Vincentre is located opposite of the former parsonage. You can see a presentation here about Vincent’s years in Nuenen.
