With a dozen original paintings and a permanent exhibition on the Brabant from Vincent's days, the museum's Van Gogh pavillion takes visitors back to his era and into his world. The musuem frequently features temporary exhibitions on aspects of Vincent's life and work.

Van Gogh expressed his thoughts and feelings not only in paintings, but also in lettres. Those letres offer give a unique insight into his inner world and his era. Some of the original lettres can be viewed at exhibitions worldwide. Furthermore, the contents of his lettres are published online for everyone to be studied.
