Eindhoven:Â Jan Baijens (1838-1914) owned a paint shop which was located on the Rechtestraat C265 (now number 18). Amateur painters visited the shop regularly to buy paint and to have their work framed. Vincent met some of his friends from Eindhoven here: Antoon Hermans, Anton Kerssemakers and Willem van de Wakker, who all started taking painting lessons with him.
